Confidential counsellor

Confidential counsellor

Unacceptable behaviour by colleagues or clients, such as bullying/mobbing, discrimination, (sexual) intimidation, aggression and/or transgressive behaviour in conflicts, can occur in any Organisation and result in absenteeism. By using a confidential advisor, your employees can tell their story in a safe environment. The counsellor has a duty of confidentiality.

Activities

Our well-trained counsellors facilitate both the individual employees and the Organisation in dealing with undesirable behaviour:

For the employee:

They offer the employee who is dealing with undesirable behaviour a listening ear in a confidential environment, analyse the problem and the actions taken, determine possible next steps and assist the employee in doing so. Follow-up steps can range from support in finding people within the organisation who can ‘help’ to finding a mediator, guidance in going to the complaints committee (formal procedure) and/or referral to psychosocial, legal or other assistance. Empowerment of the employee is always the starting point.

For supervisors and management:

Our counsellors give advice to prevent undesirable behaviour. This is not just about formulating policy, but also about how to create support and embedding in your Organisation. Moreover, by registering cases of undesirable behaviour, targeted interventions can be deployed.
