Insurance physician

In case of a claim assessment or second opinion, the expertise of our insurance physicians offers a solution. Like no other, they are able to make the important distinction for occupational disability law between: (1) limitations due to illness/illness (medical) and (2) limitations due to behaviour and overload in the social environment. In the first case, the possibilities and objectifiable medical limitations are described in terms of the Functional Capability List (FML) with an explanation where it concerns limitations with regard to requirements in normative work. In the second case, there is no taxability issue, but an employability issue. This falls outside the claim assessment, but our insurance physician can then provide clear advice on effective interventions to improve the employee’s employability. The starting point here is: demedicalising and facilitating the employee in taking the self-management of his health and employability.
